We are currently offering an in office whitening procedure that in approximately 1 hour you are 4 – 8 shades whiter. Keep in mind that the darker the teeth, the more they will whiten. If you have already done a whitening procedure they will not whiten as much.
You may get trays to touch up at home if you would like for a small additional fee. Who should get touch up trays?? If you sip coffee all day long or smoke you will probably want touch up trays. If you have several cups in the morning then brush and you are done with the coffee until evening you probably will not. For people that drink soft drinks all day long, if you drink with a straw you will probably not need to touch up, but may have cavities coming your way – Beware!

We offer Cerec crowns which allow patients to have their crowns started and finished in the same visit. NO temporaries, no temperature sensitivity and no second visit. The Cerec crowns are made of porcelain right here in our office and they contain no metal even at the gum-line. Dr. Ruehle will custom make your crown to the shape and proper function that is best for you.

Dr. Ruehle has found that with the Waterlase MD, he is able to help patients that are "tongue tied" to speak and even sing much easier. The procedure requires only a topical anesthetic, and NO SHOTS. Dr. Ruehle releases the muscle that attaches the tongue to the floor of the mouth with the Waterlase MD. The beauty of this particular type of laser is that is coagulates the blood vessels as it cuts, so there is no bleeding, no stitches. The entire procedure takes less than 45 minutes and is appropriate for children as young as age 3 all the way up to Grandma’s age. Even for small children, no sedation is needed. Post-Op a patient should avoid very acidic foods for 2-3 days. Avoid balsamic vinegar type dressings and grapefruit as they will burn slightly. The only problem for children is that they want to lift their tongue and show their friends. Wait 2-3 days first without stressing the area and then show everyone including your speech therapist and the music teacher at school! Within days you will be able to make sounds you were never capable of before.
The procedure can be filed to either your medical or dental insurance, or both, depending on your medical deductible.
Partials (metal or flexible acrylic), dentures, implants-supported appliances. Now both partials and complete dentures can be snapped into place with as few as 4 implants. This will allow these appliances to fit snugly, firmly and confidently. Eat whatever you want, speak as long as you want. NO MORE GOO to hold them in place. An artificial anchor for a missing tooth/teeth — The use of the 3D imaging now available, allows Dr. Ruehle To place single and multiple implants with exact precision for you here in our office. Implants allow Dr. Ruehle to correct a missing tooth with a natural look and without cutting down adjacent teeth keeping them in optimal condition.
1. As an artificial root for a single tooth replacement.
2. As anchors for a removable denture.
3. As an anchor when multiple teeth are missing in the form of a bridge.
1. They slow the shrinking of bone and gum tissue from the area of the missing tooth, thus preventing premature aging.

Dental implants do not develop decay and will never need a root canal.

With the exception of natural teeth, implants will give you the most natural looking teeth and smile.
Not to worry … No matter where the missing tooth is, you will not see a post sticking up, nor a gap. We can always make a temporary appliance or restoration to keep that confident smile looking great.

Root canal therapy when required. This procedure is usually completed with the WaterlaseMD, to kill all the remaining bacteria hiding in the microscopic pores of the canals thus reducing the chances that the tooth might need to be retreated in the future.

Gum disease, perio-maintenance cleanings and exams, root planning and scaling (gum treatments). Almost all perio scalings are followed up with laser treatments to kill the bio-film (bacteria), thus promoting a better chance for complete healing. Surgery is referred to a specialist along with other major periodontal problems.

Dr. Ruehle will do some extractions and we also have Dr. David Roberts that comes into our office to assist our patients that need more complicated extractions including impacted wisdom teeth. If you or your family has an accident and injurs your mouth, please take care of yourself by treating the worst accident first. If you go to the emergency room, inform the ER doctor of any injuries to your mouth or jaw even if only bruised or sore. They will include this in their notes, even though they will probably not treat broken teeth but they will take care of broken bones. Ask for a copy of the ER report and we will send this, and any claim information to your medical insurance company to assist you. Dr. Ruehle's emergency pager number is on our answering machine. Please then call Dr. Ruehle as soon as possible.
