Sonicare is now available.
Sonicare toothbrushes are now available IN our office for our patients and their families ONLY. Through an arrangement with TDA, we are able to provide these to OUR PATIENTS at a Greatly reduced price. Please ask your hygienist or TK for details.

Both simple toothaches and trauma related.
If you or your family has an accident and injurs your mouth, please take care of yourself by treating the worst accident first. If you go to the emergency room, inform the ER doctor of any injuries to your mouth or jaw even if only bruised or sore. They will include this in their notes, even though they will probably not treat broken teeth but they will take care of broken bones. Ask for a copy of the ER report and we will send this, and any claim information to your medical insurance company to assist you. Dr. Ruehle's emergency pager number is on our answering machine. Please then call Dr. Ruehle as soon as possible.

Our office provides a full spectrum of cosmetic care from the simple White Fillings to Full-Mouth Reconstruction.

White fillings
No metal, no mercury, and they are bonded to the teeth to make the teeth stronger than metal fillings and less likely for bacteria to creep in around the edges of the restoration. We will do most fillings with the Waterlase MD which do not require shots. You do not leave numb or with that tingly feeling. For further information we invite you to check out: www.WaterlaseMD.com

Lumineers
Minimal or no-prep veneers to painlessly reshape and permanently whiten your smile. These can enlarge small teeth, reduce teeth that are too large, fill in gaps, give new life to worn down teeth and many other change the color. Many times we will do this in conjunction with whitening to give the shape and color you want to all of your teeth. Lumineers should last from 5-20 years depending on the home care and proper dental followups as suggested by Dr. Ruehle. For further information we invite you to check out: www.Lumineers.com

Full Mouth Reconstruction
Implants, bridgework, partials and dentures. To look and function as good as new.

Whitening Options
We are currently offering an in office whitening procedure that in approximately 1 hour you are 4 – 8 shades whiter. Keep in mind that the darker the teeth, the more they will whiten. If you have already done a whitening procedure they will not whiten as much.

You may get trays to touch up at home if you would like for a small additional fee. Who should get touch up trays?? If you sip coffee all day long or smoke you will probably want touch up trays. If you have several cups in the morning then brush and you are done with the coffee until evening you probably will not. For people that drink soft drinks all day long, if you drink with a straw you will probably not need to touch up, but may have cavities coming your way – Beware!

Single Visit - Beautiful NATURAL looking Crowns
We offer Cerec crowns which allow patients to have their crowns started and finished in the same visit. NO temporaries, no temperature sensitivity and no second visit. The Cerec crowns are made of porcelain right here in our office and they contain no metal even at the gum-line. Dr. Ruehle will custom make your crown to the shape and proper function that is best for you.

WaterlaseMD Laser Dentistry
Dr. Ruehle has received Fellowship Certification by the World Clinical Laser Institute

Comfortable, “NO,Shot, NO-Pain”, minimally invasive dentistry for both tooth and soft tissue procedures. 90% or more of new cavities, and many existing fillings with new decay, can be treated without shots, discomfort, or that numb feeling. Get back to work or school and talk away!

Small benign lesions inside the mouth can be removed with the laser with No shots, no bleeding, and no stitches.

Do you have cold sensitivity? With a few passes of the Waterlase MD, Dr. Ruehle can eliminate the cold sensitivity you have and you can enjoy your “Ice Tea”, Ice Cream, or just enjoy a beautiful day outdoors in Winter.

Dr. Ruehle can improve an uneven gum line or a "gummy smile" with the Waterlase MD in a short procedure, without shots, only a topical is needed. Again, only post op concerns are to not eat very acidic foods such as balsamic dressings or
grapefruits.

Tongue Tied Issues: Dr. Ruehle has found that with the Waterlase MD, he is able to help patients that are “tongue tied” to speak and even sing much easier. The procedure requires only a topical anesthetic, and NO SHOTS. Dr. Ruehle releases the muscle that attaches the tongue to the floor of the mouth with the Waterlase MD. The beauty of this particular type of laser is that is coagulates the blood vessels as it cuts, so there is no bleeding, no stitches. The entire procedure takes less than 45 minutes and is appropriate for children as young as age 3 all the way up to Grandma’s age. Even for small children, no sedation is needed. Post-Op a patient should avoid very acidic foods for 2-3 days. Avoid balsamic vinegar type dressings and grapefruit as they will burn slightly. The only problem for children is that they want to lift their tongue and show their friends. Wait 2-3 days first without stressing the area and then show everyone including your speech therapist and the music teacher at school! Within days you will be able to make sounds you were never capable of before.

The procedure can be filed to either your medical or dental insurance, or both, depending on your medical deductible.

Removable Appliances
Partials (metal or flexible acrylic), dentures, implants-supported appliances.

Root canal therapy when required. This procedure is usually completed with the WaterlaseMD, to kill all the remaining bacteria hiding in the microscopic pores of the canals thus reducing the chances that the tooth might need to be retreated in the future.

Gum disease, perio-maintenance cleanings and exams, root planning and scaling (gum treatments). Almost all perio scalings are followed up with laser treatments to kill the bio-film (bacteria), thus promoting a better chance for complete healing. Surgery is referred to a specialist along with other major periodontal problems.

Dr. Ruehle will do some extractions and we also have Dr. David Roberts that comes into our office to assist our patients that need more complicated extractions including impacted wisdom teeth. He offers these with local, nitrous or with IV sedation. For further information on Dr. Roberts you may visit his web site at www.robertsdds.com.
